Since 2010 we’ve distributed fresh produce to 12,600 households, including 38,500 food boxes from October 2020 – January 2022, and 13,200 prepared meals from January – March 2022. The 14605-zip code is a food desert with no major supermarket within walking distance, only corner stores selling over-priced food items. Our urban farm is within walking distance for many residents and is a critical resource for nutritious food for the community. We completed 360 Youth Organic Farming Classes at The Vineyard Farm for youth and their families where have been trained in all aspects of farm operations and our Youth Farmer’s Market. They will provide leadership and assist in training future participants. We have conducted 275 grassroots fundraising events and Father Legacy Programming to support fathers in building a future for their children. In 2010, we collaborated with URMC and Anthony Jordan Health Center physicians to provide Telehealth Training to hundreds of community residents. An additional class is planned for the Fall to equip community residents with viable skills and prepare them for employment. Since May 22, 2021, 61 Vaccination Clinics have been conducted, with 870 people vaccinated, and 800 persons have received free COVID testing administered at The Vineyard Farm and via our mobile service to Seniors in the City of Rochester.

We completed 360 Youth Organic Farming Classes at The Vineyard Farm (classroom and field training) for Youth and their Families. Since June 19, 2021, a total of 12 Youth have been trained in all aspects of farm operations and Youth Farmer’s Market. They will provide Youth leadership and assist in training additional Youth who participate in this programming. We conducted 275Events including Talent Showcase by Night, Benefit Concerts and Father Legacy Programming to support and train fathers to build an auspicious future for their children.

In 2010, we collaborated with the University of Rochester Medical School and Anthony Jordan Health Center Physicians to provide Telehealth Training and issue certificates of completion to 30 community residents. An additional class is planned for the Fall to equip community residents with viable skills and prepare them for employment.

Since May 22, 2021, a total of 61 Vaccination Clinics have been conducted, resulting in 1,356 people being vaccinated. A total of843 persons have received free COVID testing in partnership Governor Kathy Hochul’s Vax to School Program administered byNew York State Health Department/ VIP Star Network at The Vineyard Farm and via our mobile service to Seniors in the City ofRochester. A University of Rochester Medical Center team of 25 Cardiologists have assessed 516 community residents fromNovember 6, 2021 to the present. There have been 33, 678 COVID 19 Survival Kits Distributed and 15,302 Home Testing Kits.
